Swim Lessons for Kids at the Fontana Park Aquatic Center

Fontana, California, January 20, 2011. The Mayor and City Council invite parents to register their 6-month to 13-years-old children for swim lessons at the Fontana Park Aquatic Center.

Swim lessons teach your children the forms and techniques necessary to move through water efficiently and safely. Classes are targeted to your child’s skill level, whether your child is experienced or a first time swimmer.

Swim lessons are on either Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays, for 5 weeks. Classes for Monday and Wednesday begin on February 7 and March 14. Tuesday and Thursday classes begin on February 8 and March 15. Classes are $40 for Fontana residents and $50 for non-residents.

Semi-private lessons are also available. These lessons are for children aged 3 to 17, and feature small groups of three swimmers. Lessons are Saturdays at 9, 10 and 11 a.m. beginning February 5, and March 12. Semi-private lessons are $60 for residents, $70 for non-residents.
