New Temecula Rotary Board of Directors invites interested potential members to attend during the month of August.

Temecula: The newly inducted board of directors of the Rotary Club of Temecula is inviting local business leaders who may be interested in becoming members to visit their weekly club meeting during the month of August. Serving the Temecula Valley since 1975 the club’s membership has grown to over one hundred local business leaders who are very involved with the community. They are helping make a difference through many programs and events like providing Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas gifts and food baskets to local families in need,  Scholarships for local high school seniors, Literacy programs, a Music Contest for area high school students, and Youth Leadership programs.

In addition the club supports and funds International projects like Clean Water projects in Kenya, Project Peanut Butter helping feed starving children in Africa, and a Health Care Camp in Bangladesh.  The Rotary Club of Temecula is one of the most active and largest Rotary Clubs in Riverside County, but while they work hard the social aspect of the club is very important as well and outside casual gatherings generally take place on a quarterly basis.

Business owners and other professional members of the community who wish to become a Rotarian will learn about the club’s mission and goals then be assigned a Sponsor; prospective members will be invited to join by their Sponsor. Club meetings are held every Wednesday at Wilson Creek Winery from 12 noon to 1:30PM.  Anyone who has an interest in attending a meeting or learning more about the club should contact temecularotary@yahoo.com. If you make a reservation to visit, the club will provide your lunch at no charge.

Rotary is a worldwide organization of more than 1.2 million business, professional, and community leaders.  Members of Rotary, known as Rotarians, provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.  Clubs are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds.
