Triple-Amputee Corporal Juan Dominguez to Arrive via U.S. Navy Seahawk Helicopter
At Event Honoring Him at Monte De Oro Winery

Temecula, California. On Friday, May 25, 2012 Monte De Oro Winery in association with the Thomas DeAngelis Memorial Fund and the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation will host a fundraising event to benefit U.S. Marine Corporal Juan Dominguez, a triple-amputee who has chosen Temecula to be his new home.
The evening will feature wine and food from more than 30 wineries and local restaurants as well as entertainment by the Brewer Boys and other well-known acts from the Inland Empire.
The highlight of the evening will be an aerial rappelling demonstration followed by the arrival of Cpl. Dominguez aboard a Navy S60 Seahawk helicopter, which will land on the grounds of the Monte De Oro Winery.

- Marine Cpl. Juan Dominguez lost both legs and his right arm on Oct. 23, 2010 when he slipped down a small embankment and landed on a buried 30-40 lb. bomb in Afghanistan.
- During his recuperation, he has undergone 23 surgeries, and spent more than five months in the Walter Reed National Medical Center in Bethesda, MD and Washington DC.
- He is presently an out-patient at the U.S. Naval Medical Center in San Diego.
