The City of Eastvale and DesignLingo Join Forces to Launch City Logo Design Campaign

Eastvale, CA: Monday, April 25, 2011 – The City of Eastvale announced today that it would team up with DesignLingo for the development to its new City logo and seal in a campaign aptly titled “Identify Eastvale – Free the Designer in You”.

The 3-month design process will kick off with an initial public workshop, scheduled for Wednesday May 4th, 7pm at the Rosa Parks Elementary School. The meetings will allow residents to brainstorm ideas for the new logo designs. A two-week campaign will follow, which will include social media, online surveys and printed response cards placed at selected locations throughout the city. The project will conclude with a second public workshop, recapping the feedback received, and a presentation to the City Council – upon which final designs will be selected.

A website for the logo design process has been created and is available at www.identifyeastvale.com. Residents are encouraged to visit the site regularly for project updates and surveys.

About The City of Eastvale
Eastvale, one of California’s newest Cities, began operation on October 1, 2010. Just ten years prior, Eastvale was a part of the world-famous Chino dairy area, home to thousands of dairy cattle and a handful of residents. Today, Eastvale has a population of approximately 53,00 residents with roughly 90 percent of the city developed and served by a variety of local and regional shopping centers. Eastvale residents are proud of their community and of incorporation and the chance to chart their own future as an independent city. The City Council values and encourages public participation in the governing process
