San Bernardino, CA – The Inaugural Quality of Life Summit, presented by the Inland Empire Economic Partnership (IEEP) will be held on the campus of California State University San Bernardino (CSUSB). The University is celebrating 45 years as an educational institution primarily serving Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Serving approximately 15,000 students annually, the University has been severely impacted with the recent economic downturn and consequently the impact this has had on traditional funding sources for the University.
Nevertheless, Cal State San Bernardino continues to provide students with the highest quality education possible in the areas of computer science, geographic information and decision sciences, psychology, health, kinesiology, English, public administration, accounting and finance, among others.
On April 1st, President of Cal State San Bernardino, Albert K. Karnig will address attendees with the first “State of the University.” This will serve as an opportunity to learn how a vital component of our regions Quality of Life has adapted and planned for future success. Appropriately, the mission of the University includes “improving the region’s quality of life through the skills, knowledge, experience and engagement of its faculty, staff, students and alumni.”
