The Leonard Transportation Center Forum: Discussing Transportation and Technology

San Bernardino, CA –  The 5th Annual Leonard Transportation Center Forum is pleased to have Mr. Wolfgang Hall, representing ESRI, serve as the keynote speaker for the event focusing on technology and transportation. As we prepare to discuss the direction technology is taking transportation, we are grateful to have a GIS expert on our team.

Mr. Hall joined ESRI in 1998 as a consultant and project manager. During his time at ESRI he held progressively responsible positions including manager of the Transportation and Logistics Services department, principal consultant for logistics, and business development manager for solution products at ESRI. He has more than 19 years of experience in transportation system development and 16 years of experience in project management. Mr. Hall has been instrumental in developing leading edge transportation solutions for FedEx, Sears and On-Star.

In addition to Mr. Hall, the Forum will feature technological advancements currently under development at Metrolink. Representing Metrolink will be Mr. C.J. Zerzan, Communication and Signaling Manager. Mr. Zerzan currently provides Program and Project Management for the development and implementation of the C&S elements of SCRRA’s (Metrolink) Positive Train Control System.

Also representing an important player in our regions transit system is Mr. Rohan Kuruppu from Omnitrans. The Director of Planning and Development Services for Omnitrans has over twentyfive years of experience in transit planning, policy and construction. He has led numerous major planning and construction projects nationally and internationally, including successful planning and financing efforts of the E Street sbX Bus Rapid Transit corridor project in record time to secure $75 million in Small Starts funding.
