The Let It Be Foundation Hosts 7th Annual 5K+ Walk-Run

The Let It Be Foundation is holding their annual 5K+ Walk-Run to aid their mission in providing monthly support and services that help restore a sense of normalcy to Southern California families with children diagnosed with cancer and other life-threatening pediatric illnesses. Proceeds of the event will be dedicated to caring for ill children and their families throughout their treatment.

Inland runners, joggers and walkers of all ages are encouraged to participate and help make a difference in the lives of families in need. The event is “untimed” allowing the whole family to participate, while still offering a challenge to more serious runners. Participants will receive an event t-shirt, pancake and egg breakfast, and all youths will receive a medal.

Based in Chino, The Let It Be Foundation™ is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers individualized aid to help relieve overwhelmed and financially strained families with seriously ill children. Services include medical accessories, sibling care, household maintenance and meals. The foundation was inspired by Karla Asch-Rosen, who was diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer. Her heartfelt desire was to “just be normal” and share her faith with others. The foundation’s mission reflects the life-changing impact that illness can have on the family dynamic.
