SAN BERNARDINO, California (Thursday, November 7, 2013) – The Bonnes Meres Auxiliary of Children’s Fund will hold its annual holiday auction on Thursday, November 14, to benefit at-risk children in San Bernardino County. Themed “The Simple Joys of Christmas,” this year’s much-anticipated event will be held in the Renaissance Ballroom at the National Orange Show Events Center in San Bernardino.

According to event chair Sally Robertson, “The mission of Bonnes Meres is to provide help and support to at-risk children in our region, many of whom are in our county’s foster care system. This event is our largest fundraiser and everything we raise is for the kids.  I selected the theme ‘The Simple Joys of Christmas’ as a celebration of giving to others, remembering the best gifts we can give all children is joy, peace and love,” states Robertson.  “We want the magic of the season to radiate throughout this event, hopefully encouraging all who attend to share in giving these children hope for their future.”

Terrie DeMuth, co-chairwoman of the event states, “It is a privilege to co-chair this year’s annual auction and to work with such caring and compassionate women in Bonnes Meres.  We share the common thread of giving from our hearts to aid the at-risk children in our community.  I am looking forward to an amazing and successful event.”
