The University of Redlands School of Music and Crafton Hills College Present Orfeo ed Euridice
University of Redlands and Crafton Hills College join forces in a production of Christoph Willibald Gluck’s ground-breaking opera Orfeo ed Euridice. Featuring some of the composer’s most significant music, Orfeo ed Euridice is Gluck’s treatment of the classical Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. In order to retrieve his beloved wife, Eurydice, the poet, musician, and prophet, Orpheus, descends into Hades and must confront the underworld’s most harrowing challenges.
This production is in Italian, German and French with English supertitles.
