Time for Change Foundation Sixth Annual Springtime Bloom Awards Luncheon

San Bernardino, CA – Successful gardeners tend to their soil in the fall amending the ground with nutrients before they plant the seeds for a springtime bloom. Time for Change Foundation is doing just that, preparing for a springtime bloom to continue its fight to combat homelessness by providing essential tools and resources for homeless women to become self-sufficient for themselves and their children.

Time for Change Foundation will hold its Sixth Annual Awards Luncheon on April 7, 2011 from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the National Orange Show Events Center in San Bernardino. This is an opportunity to honor members of the community, to celebrate the life-changing successes of its clients, and raise needed funds to continue its mission.

Community Action Partnership will be recognized with the Community Champions Award for its leadership to establish innovative programs that serves San Bernardino’s residents with alternatives that lead them away from poverty toward prosperity.

“On behalf of myself and the Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County Board of Directors, we are honored to be recognized by Time for Change Foundation as the recipient of the 2011 Community Champions Award. We have been especially challenged during these tough economic times to continue this mission, and it is gratifying to be recognized for these efforts. We are proud to be a community partner with Time for Change Foundation,” said Patricia Nickols, Chief Executive Officer of CAPSBC.
