Tour de Riverside – Routes

Scenic Tour (30 miles)

The 30 mile ride includes some hills and offers the best of historic Riverside. Highlights include the famed ‘Wood’ Streets, beautiful Victoria Ave, and historic Downtown Riverside.

Ride Starts at 8:15 am.

Santa Ana River Trail (Approx 14 miles)

Fairmount Park Cruise (2 miles)

Take a relaxing cruise around Fairmount Park, past Lake Evans, enjoy the scenery, and most importantly, take your time.

Ride starts at 9:00 am

(Park cruise riders must complete course to qualify for free lunch)


Kid’s Bicycle Safety Road-e-o

Intended for children ages 5-12, this fun bicycle safety training and ride teaches kids the basics of safe riding.  Participants learn how to avoid hazards in riding on streets, practice defensive maneuvers, and gain confidence in their riding skills.   They’ll have lots of fun while they learn.  Bicycle helmets are required for all riders.  Free helmets will be given away to those needing them by Safe Routes to Schools.

Safety Road-e-o will start  at 10:00 am.

Bike-A-Thon:

Would you like to raise funds for YOUR organization?  Register your organization to participate in the Bike-a-thon, then have your employees, members and/or supporters dollect pledges to ride in one of the three rides of the Tour or ride the special one mile bicycling oval within beautiful Fairmount Park. A Tour de Riverside official will verify the rider’s completion of the ride or the number of laps completed on the special Bike-a-thon course. Riders must be registered to ride, complete the ride waiver form and wear a helmet in order to participate.  For more details on schedule of events or registration click here.
