Trends and Opportunities in the Economic Recovery Offered to Help IE Businesses

CORONA, Calif. Economic Recovery and Trends: What to Expect in 2011 will be provided to Inland Empire businesses at a breakfast meeting planned for Tuesday, May 17th at the Corona Public Library.  This event will feature interactive presentations with economists and business leaders which will assist participants to understand regional opportunities that will build their businesses.  Additionally, extensive networking with regional businesses will be highlighted.

The Business Resource Connection (BRC), a strategic alliance of seasoned business professionals focused on taking businesses to the next level, is offering this event as part of its Business Education program.  This is BRC’s 5th Annual Signature event for Inland Empire businesses.

BRC has joined forces to create these interactive events with our partners, the City of Corona, the Inland Empire Women’s Business Center, the Greater Corona Valley Chamber, the National Association of Women Business Owners and Team Corona.

Emil Marzullo, executive director of the City of San Bernardino Economic Development Agency, will present the latest economic outlook for the region.  With over 30 years of experience in planning and economic development, as well as, land development in both the private and private sectors, Emil will detail the trends and hot areas of opportunity that IE businesses need to know to promote their growth.

Two interactive panels, focused on business trends and technology, will be provided with distinguished business leaders answering your most pressing questions.  Tina Loza of Loza & Loza will facilitate the panels which will include Karen Blackwell of Nestle Business Services-North America, Judi Staats representing the City of Corona Economic Development, Rob Witherby from High Speed Marketing, Ken Ashford of the Metropolitan Water District and Christine McDannell from Social Starfish.
