University of Redlands and Keck Graduate Institute Partner on Pathways for Graduate Students

University of Redlands, U of R
Redlands, Ca — The University of Redlands, a private, nonprofit liberal arts and professional university in California, has established a new partnership with Keck Graduate Institute (KGI), which educates students to become leaders in healthcare and the life sciences.
The partnership creates a seamless transition for qualified U of R students interested in pursuing graduate programs within KGI’s Henry E. Riggs School of Applied Life Sciences. Additionally, qualified students receive waivers of the application fee and standardized test score requirement, priority review of their application, and additional scholarship opportunities.
“The University of Redlands emphasizes academic rigor, curricular diversity, and innovative teaching,” said Kendrick Brown, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Redlands. “This partnership enhances that programming and introduces a new pathway to benefit our students.”
KGI Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid Sofia Toro says, “We look forward to increasing our pipeline of students from the University of Redlands. Having such a respected school join our list of articulation agreement schools will allow more local students to study health care and the life sciences.”
Founded in 1997, KGI is a private graduate school in Claremont, California, and the seventh and newest member of the Claremont Consortium.

In addition to this new agreement with KGI, the University of Redlands has a variety of partnerships forming pathways into, through, and beyond the University. These partnerships span more than 400 organizations — community colleges, public agencies including law enforcement and city government, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
