Victoria Gardens Helps Families Kick Off Back-To-School Shopping With New Free Event

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif., (July 19, 2013) – The last weeks of summer are quickly approaching, and Victoria Gardens is getting local kids and their parents ready for the new school year with a free back-to-school breakfast celebration.

“August is a busy month for parents as they prepare for the transition back to school for their children,” said Melina Ferraez, Director of Marketing for Victoria Gardens. “With this event, we are helping parents get their back-to-school shopping done while also enjoying a fun, end of summer celebration with their kids.”

Victoria Gardens’ free, back-to-school breakfast event will take place on Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30a.m. in Chaffey Town Square.  Free continental breakfast will be provided by Richie’s Real American Diner, including a muffin, fruit and apple juice.  The event will also feature live entertainment from the band Happy Crowd; a family band that specializes in positive, upbeat music for kids and parents.  In addition, children will enjoy a special craft area where they can decorate their own canvas bag, as well as a free photo in front of a summer-themed green screen.

“Back-to-school season can be exciting for the whole family, and this event will give parents a chance to shop for all their back-to-school supplies at one time,” added Ferraez.  “Many of our stores will be revealing their back-to-school fashions and deals during the weekend, and parents can take advantage of our special gift-with-purchase offer to receive free school supplies as a thank you from Victoria Gardens.”

Guests who purchase a backpack from August 3-4 will receive a free set of school supplies as a special gift-with-purchase from Victoria Gardens. To participate, guests can purchase a backpack at any Victoria Gardens store as long as the store carries backpacks and the backpack is worth $10 or more, excluding department stores.Guests can pick up their free school supplies by visiting Guest Services and presenting their receipt dated August 3 or 4. The school supply set will include a pencil case, pencils, crayons, eraser and ruler, and are available while supplies last.

Victoria Gardens’ back-to-school breakfast event is limited to 300 children between the ages of 3 and 12 years old. Space is limited, so parents must RSVP by visiting Victoria Gardens’ Guest Services, or calling (909) 463-2829 prior to the event.
