“We Love Juan Dominguez Day”

 February 13, 2012. Temecula, California.  In choosing Temecula, California as the location he would like to spend the rest of his life, 27-year-old U.S. Marine Corporal Juan Dominguez, a triple-amputee, is being honored by the Gary Sinise Foundation, the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation and the City of Temecula by declaring February 14th, “We Love Juan Dominguez Day.”

Juan Dominguez, a true American Hero will be escorted into the ceremony on the footsteps of Temecula City Hall by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the Temecula Fire Department and approximately 50+ Patriot Guard Riders.  Surrounded by a an enormous patriotic heart and greeted by 60 young musicians from the Temecula Valley High School Marching Band, community leaders, veterans groups and the citizens of Temecula will officially welcome Juan with open arms into their community.  One of America’s most famous tenors, Danny Rodriguez, also known as “Americas Singing Cop” will also serenade the crowd with love songs.

Temecula’s Mayor, Chuck Washington, will officially declare February 14th as “Juan Dominguez Day.”  All are welcome to attend the ceremony, which will start at 11:00am on the footsteps of the Temecula City Hall.  Mayor Washington says, “We love our heroes!” He further added, “Juan Dominguez loved this country enough to sacrifice three limbs.  The least we can do is honor and thank him properly.  We welcome Juan with open arms to our lovely community.”

In an effort to raise funds in support of building Juan’s dream home in Temecula, Gary Sinise and his Lt. Dan Band are headlining a concert at Temecula City Hall on March 1, 2012 at 7pm.  Both the Gary Sinise Foundation and the Tunnel to Towers Foundation have partnered in the Building For America’s Bravest Program.  Tickets are on sale at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater, 42051 Main St, Temecula, CA.   Tickets are also available atwww.temeculatheater.org, or by calling 866.Old.Town. Prices range from $30-$150 for VIP seating.

Gary Sinise added, “All of us at The Gary Sinise Foundation and the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation are grateful to the people of Temecula for supporting our ‘Building For America’s Bravest’ Program. This concert will give us the opportunity to honor Juan’s heroism by raising funds to build a special home that will help to enable him to lead the best life possible with his daughter.”
