Workforce Investment Board to host workshop for local businesses about navigating wage and hour laws in California
Workshop to be held on August 11 at Main Library in Ontario
In an effort to help assist businesses better understand compliance with state wage and hour laws, the Workforce Board of San Bernardino County will host a workshop on August 11, entitled “Navigating Through the Confusing Wage and Hour Laws in California
The free workshop will be held at main library in the City of Ontario and will answer questions such as:
- What are the laws concerning contractors versus employees?
- What are common mistakes and the latest rulings?
- What is the difference between exempt versus non-exempt employees?

The Workforce Investment Board of San Bernardino County is comprised of private business representatives and public partners appointed by the County Board of Supervisors.
