Workshop focuses on boosting employee morale

SAN BERNARDINO, CA (April  20, 2011) — The City of San Bernardino, Economic Development Agency, Office of Business Development is hosting a workshop titled, “Achieving Balance in Employee Morale,” from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Thursday, April 21.  The workshop will be held at the Office of Business Development, 201-B N. E Street, Suite 200, in San Bernardino.

The workshop is taught by Rudy Westervelt, president of Power in Learning, a company that specializes in workplace training and support.

Westervelt will discuss strategies to improve employee morale, boost productivity and enhance teamwork.

“This workshop will be useful to employees and managers who are frequently asked to increase output with less resources,” said Lori Tillery, economic development manager. “Attendees will leave this workshop with a greater understanding of how to guide employees through stressful times.”
