Workshop: Macro-Photography

(Inland Empire) – On Sunday, October 10, the San Bernardino County Museum will hold a workshop, “Photography Made Simple: Macro-Photography,” at 1pm and 3pm.Sponsored by the James Irvine Foundation, this workshop is included in paid museum admission.

Led by artist Terry Long, visitors will learn techniques of photographing small objects. Long will guide visitors the art of macro-photography that can be pursued with a highly technical set of equipment, or with point-and-shoot cameras, or even with cell phone cameras.

“Photography Made Simple” workshops offer basic skills and a relaxed environment for building photographic techniques. Long leads participants in finding affordable resources, and in using lighting, composition, and camera technology to improve their personal photos.
