SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (Sept. 6, 2011) –The San Bernardino Valley Enterprise Zone (SBVEZ) is hosting a EZ 101 workshop on Tuesday, Sept. 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. The event will be held at the city of San Bernardino’s Office of Business Development, 201-B North E Street, Suite 200.
Owners, executives, managers and other decision makers of businesses located in the SBVEZ are invited to learn more about the zone’s tax credits and incentives and how to file for them.
The workshop will be presented by Gary Buse, president and founder of Targeted Management Company, a company that assists businesses with federal and state hiring tax credits. Buse will address each enterprise zone incentive and how they benefit businesses.
“There are thousands of businesses in the zone that could be utilizing the program if they knew more about it,” said Wendy Clements, SBVEZ zone manager. “This workshop will help educate local businesses about how the program grants tax deductions and other incentives for hiring qualified workers and investing in the local community.”
