- Wednesday, April 6, 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. — Motivational speaker Boaz Rauchwerger will give a presentation on how to make your business a success in difficult economic times. Rauchwerger is author of “The Tiberias Transformation – How To Change Your Life In Less Than 8 Minutes A Day,” a book that has helped thousands of professionals and executives enhance their lives. He is also scheduled to appear on a Lifetime Network show called “The Balancing Act.”
- Thursday, April 7, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Tina Loza, founder of the Loza & Loza law firm, will give a presentation on patents, trademarks and copyrights. The workshop will cover areas such as trademark registration and the different kind of patents.
“Both of these issues are pertinent to local entrepreneurs.” said Lori Tillery, economic development manager. “Many business owners have been impacted by the economic downturn and so they are interested in learning how to prosper in today’s climate. Also, patents and copyrights are both important issues as more businesses go online.”
