The Women in Engineering ProActive Network (WEPAN) recognized the program with the 2019 Women in Engineering Initiative Award for its successful recruitment and retention of girls and women.

CPP WE was also named the 2019 Program of the Year by the Collaborative Network for Engineering and Computing Diversity (CoNECD), an award that honored a service activity that enhanced participation of diverse populations of students historically underserved in engineering.

The Cal Poly Pomona College of Engineering was recently ranked by U.S. News at No. 11 nationally for “Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs” where a doctorate is not offered. The College offers 11 ABET-accredited undergraduate programs and 7 graduate programs. It is one of the largest engineering schools in California.
