About the University:
Founded in 1950, California Baptist University is affiliated with the California Southern Baptist Convention and is fully accredited. CBU is the only Southern Baptist college or university on the West Coast, and continues the tradition of liberal arts education in a Christian environment.
The campus:
Our 103 plus acre campus in Riverside, California is a great reflection of the Southern California environment, with towering palm trees, mission-style buildings, and a spectacular view of the nearby San Bernardino Mountains.
Our students:
More than 3,700 students attend CBU, coming to Riverside from 37 states and 34 foreign countries.
Our faculty:
California Baptist University currently has more than 200 faculty members (104 full-time), 65 percent of whom hold terminal degrees in their areas of study. The student-to-faculty ratio is 16-to-1.
