A Community Celebration of the Arts!
Rancho Cucamonga, Ca – The Victoria Gardens Cultural Center debuts a new community event this fall—-Chalk & Brews: CommUNITY Arts Festival on Sunday, September 8th from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. The Chalk & Brews: CommUNITY Arts Festival is a free event open to the public. Marvel at award-winning chalk artists as they create stunning work before your eyes. View the artwork in all stages of progress, from layout and design, to color application, and of course the finished creation. Take an exclusive tour of the Lewis Family Playhouse and get a sneak peek of the 2019-2020 season. Tap your toes to the jazzy beat with Corey’s Dixiebop Quartet and enjoy outdoor games, courtesy of Punch Bowl Social. Peruse the grand finale of the Artist Association of the Inland Empire’s summer exhibition or partake in creating your own work of art. Delicious food will be available for purchase and special giveaways from the Pie Hole are sure to get your mouth watering.
Enjoy the Craft Beer Garden and create your own chalk masterpiece on the community mural.
Admission to the Craft Beer Garden is $10 per person (proceeds go to support Rancho Cucamonga Community Theatre). Featured craft breweries include: Hamilton, Kings Brewing Co., No Clue Brewery, and Revolt.
An intimate 560-seat venue, the Lewis Family Playhouse is the crown jewel of the 89,000-square-foot Victoria Gardens Cultural Center. The complex at 12505 Cultural Center Drive is conveniently located off the I-15 at Foothill Boulevard, situated on the North side of the Victoria Gardens Regional Shopping Center, with free parking available. The Box Office is open Monday through Friday from noon to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 p.m.
