The City of Corona Animal Shelter is partnering with hundreds of animal shelters across the country for the NBC4 and Telemundo52 Clear the Shelters event to be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019.
Clear the Shelters was created to help address the overcrowding of animal shelters and raise awareness about the benefits of adopting from a local animal shelter. Last year, the Corona Animal Shelter helped 22 animals find new homes in just one day! Across the country, over 100,000 pets found their forever homes during the 2018 Clear the Shelters event.
Please take part in making this year’s event a successful one by adopting a homeless pet and giving it a forever home. All adoptions at the Corona Animal Shelter will be $20, which includes the cost of spay/neuter. Normal dog licensing fees and microchipping fees still apply, if applicable.
