Fontana Seeks Stakeholder Input on City Manager Search

Fontana, Ca– The City of Fontana will host a public forum on Monday, October 21, to receive thoughts and suggestions from community stakeholders on the qualifications for the next City Manager.

The forum will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall flex room and is open to the public.

“Over the past several weeks, our City Transition Team has been laying the groundwork for a unique, transparent and, we believe, highly effective City Manager search. As part of this intentional collaborative process, we’re seeking the input of City staff and managers, as well as stakeholders throughout the community, on what they would like to see in the next City Manager,” said Rakesha Thomas, Fontana’s Director of Human Resources and Risk Management.

Fontana’s former City Manager, Ken Hunt, retired in July. Michael Milhiser, former City Manager in Ontario, Montclair and Upland, is serving as interim City Manager during the search process.
