FONTANA: Make a Splash this Summer

Fontana, CA – The Mayor and City Council invite the public to enjoy the many aquatic programs Fontana is offering this summer!

Starting Memorial Day weekend, May 26, 2012, Fontana pools will open to the public for recreational swim, swim lessons, and lap swimming. Don Day, Heritage and Miller will be open for recreational swim Monday through Friday, from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. Evening swim hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. The Fontana Park Aquatic Center is open year-round with an adjusted schedule in the summer.

Beginning May 26th, the Aquatic Center will be open Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m., and for evening swim, Monday through Saturday from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Want to improve your child’s swimming skills? Swim lesson registration begins May 1st. Lessons are 30 minutes a day, Monday through Friday for two weeks and start at various times throughout the day. Semi-private and private classes are also available at Fontana Park and Heritage.
