Manufacturing Careers Charity Golf Event is Getting Ready to Tee-off

Plan to support a great cause – training for future skilled workers in manufacturing.

Victorville, CA – May 14, 2024: Plans are well underway for the June 3rd tournament benefiting the Manufacturers’ Council of the Inland Empire (MCIE), a 501 (3) non-profit, and their work with students and educators.

Co-Chair Steve Tyrrell, Maintenance Manager, Mitsubishi Cement, and Co-Chair Stacy DeVoll, CEO, DeVoll Rubber Manufacturing Group, Inc. are planning the event at the Bear Valley Country Club in Victorville.

“We are expecting perfect weather and a fun morning of golf, followed by lunch and awards,” said Stacy. “In addition to the support for the council, this event funding will also provide scholarships to students who are enrolled in manufacturing pathway programs.” The golf tournament will be followed by a luncheon, networking, and silent auction. Anyone wishing to register or sponsor the event may find further information on the MCIE website, mfgcouncilie.com/golf.
