New Shopping Center Breaks Ground in Jurupa Valley

Shops @ Bellegrave in Jurupa Valley

Where a 12-foot tall chicken once stood, developer has begun construction on the 10k SF Shops @ Bellegrave retail development.

Jurupa Valley, CA – Construction equipment has begun moving at the corner of Etiwanda and Bellegrave Avenues in Jurupa Valley, kicking off what will be the newest shopping center to be delivered to the City.  On what used to be the site of the “Can Do” drive-thru market/service station and a 12-foot tall chicken advertising a “Quick Chick” chicken store, soon to be erected will be a Starbucks drive-thru coffee shop, a Waba Grill, a Dentistry 4 Kids and more.  Upland based real estate developer Moore Real Estate Group is behind the project.

“We are excited to deliver quality retail and dining to this neighborhood of Sky Country, Jurupa Valley High, and the 1,100 new home development catty-corner to this site.  The residents and high school families won’t have to drive over two miles for a decent selection of food,” said CEO Jennifer Moore.

“This development symbolizes the gradual change occurring in this new city, which was incorporated in 2011.  The barn style architecture will capture the history of this farmland area, while weaving in modern spaces for both long-time and new residents to enjoy.”

Shops @ Bellegrave is scheduled for completion in Q4 of this year.  There will be two buildings featuring five tenants within 10,000 square feet.  The development team includes McKently Malak Architects, Tait Engineering, and J.G. Construction.
