School board member and Realtor says campaign will be about regaining hope of the American Dream

Yucaipa, CARosilicie Ochoa Bogh, a school board member and Realtor, today announced her candidacy for State Senate in District 23, currently held by Mike Morrell who will term out.

“My campaign is about unifying people to regain the hope of the American Dream for our families. That dream has drawn people from across the world to our state and to our district. However, many are losing hope as they see their quality of life diminish. Californians are currently experiencing the dramatic overreach of one-party rule in our state government, and that needs to change.

“As a Realtor, it brings me immense joy to help people begin their pursuit of the American Dream by attaining their first home. Unfortunately, regulations have priced many hardworking families out of the market or even out of our state.

“I’ll strive to expand economic freedom in California. As your State Senator, I will work to preserve local control and to reverse the cycle of higher taxes and increased government intrusion.

“We must have faith in the American spirit. My family taught me the values of a strong work ethic, pursuit of education, an entrepreneurial spirit, personal responsibility, civility, and humility. As Senator, I want to help empower people to understand that these values are the best way to succeed in America.”

Upon entering the race, Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh was endorsed by current State Senator Mike Morrell, who is not seeking reelection due to term limits.

“There is still much work to do in the legislature. The residents of the 23rd Senate District will be well served by sending Rosilicie to Sacramento. She will work tirelessly for her constituents and for all Californians. Rosilicie is devoted to her family and her country, and I am proud to endorse her,” said Senator Morrell.
