French Valley, CA – Riverside County Supervisor Chuck Washington is seeking applicants to serve on the Temecula-Elsinore-Anza-Murrieta Resource Conservation District. TEAM RCD’s mission is to conserve natural resources, create public awareness about conservation and promote a sustainable quality of life for communities within the district. Directors collaborate to allow projects to run smoothly through the permitting process while allowing for a sustainable and healthy environment. Directors also partake in public outreach and build relationships with other agencies in order to protect and preserve the district’s watersheds. TEAM RCD’s district includes 505,000 acres, extending south from Scott Road to the San Diego County line and from east of Anza to the Orange County line. It also includes a portion around the north of Lake Elsinore. A map of the district boundaries can be found by visiting www.csda.net and clicking on the Applicant must be a registered voter in the State of California; and, (1) a resident landowner within the district; (2) OR the designated agent of resident landowner; (3) OR have served for 2 years or more as an associate director providing assistance to the Board of Directors.
