Fontana Arts Festival on July 28th

Fontana, Calif., – The City of Fontana invites you to celebrate art, culture and community at the 10th Annual Fontana Arts Festival on Saturday, July 28, 2018. This vibrant and entertaining festival promotes, expresses and celebrates the abundant creativity in Fontana. The free family-friendly festival will take place at Fontana Park, located at 15556 Summit Ave., from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The captivating programming features all facets of the arts and has something for all ages, showcasing over 50 local artists. Activities range from interactive demonstrations including henna, calligraphy, ceramics, and special effects makeup, to fun and educational children’s activities including hands-on kid’s workshops. Roving Greek living statues will captivate audiences before their very eyes. Festival goers can also purchase work from local artists at the artisanal shopping area and explore a wide-selection of food and beverage choices at the food trucks hub.

Additionally, an electrifying array of performing arts headliners will hit the stage including, but not limited to: The Fenians, a vibrant band with a mix of traditional Irish music and rock and roll, the Tamora School of Irish Dance, the Muvuca Drummers, an all-female Brazilian inspired drum group, and Las Colibri, a Mariachi group. Also, live jazz music by the Amanda Castro Jazz Band will fill the air at the north end of the park.
