Fontana, Calif. – The City of Fontana’s Youth Community Theater production of Disney’s Aladdin Jr. will take you on a magical journey May 5th and 6th at the Steelworkers’ Auditorium located at 8437 Sierra Avenue in Fontana.
What do a genie, a flying carpet, and “whole new world” have in common? Join us at the Steelworkers’ Auditorium for the Fontana’s Youth Community Theater production of Disney’s Aladdin Jr. to find out. Enjoy a weekend of Disney’s Aladdin Jr. performances taking place on Friday, May 5, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 6, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. The show is suitable for all audiences. Tickets are available for purchase for $12 per person at the Center Stage Theater Box Office Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. located at 8463 Sierra Avenue or may be purchased online at CenterStageFontana.com. This musical production based on the iconic animated film with an Academy Award-winning score by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman, and Tim Rice. Disney’s Aladdin Jr. tells the story of a street urchin, Aladdin, contesting for the attention of the beautiful princess, Jasmine, with the assistance of a magical genie and flying carpet; while the villainous sorcerer, Jafar, hatches ruthless plans to prevent the two from finding love. Disney’s Aladdin Jr. is a musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem and the power of love.
This production is directed by Frank J. Valverde and choreographed by Yesenia D. Valverde of Valverde School of Performing Arts in partnership with the City of Fontana Arts Program.
