Online calendar is region’s first listing resource for business events
INLAND EMPIRE, Calif. – IEBizCalendar.com, a new online database that will list all of the Inland Empire’s business related events in one place, was launched today. The new database, developed by local business leader Ruben Estrada, will allow business service organizations to post and review business events taking place in the region. The website will serve as the region’s premier business event calendar.
“There are only so many events that business professionals can attend, and many times they don’t hear about the events they should go to until after the fact,” said Ruben Estrada, CEO of IEBizCalendar.com. “I developed this website service to give local businesses a new way of staying better informed about the various events happening in the area.”
The database is easy to navigate and allows users to search by location or event categories, which include networking, seminar, trade conference or training workshop. The website will be updated with new event information daily and is free to those listing and searching for events. There will be some premium services available to those listing events that will require a small fee.
“The model is simple,” Estrada said. “Organizations can build more awareness about their upcoming events by listing them for free, and other users can search for events they want to attend for free.”
Any business related event can be listed on the site by using the event posting tools. The event must be located within San Bernardino and Riverside counties.
“The region needs useful tools like IEBizCalendar.com to help businesses and workers maximize their time and resources,” said Ontario City Mayor Paul Leon. “During these tough times, the inland business community has really stepped up to provide the networking and educational opportunities we need, and with so many events happening each week, this new website will be a great way to research, connect with and inform people about the opportunities that suit them best.”
