Chino Hills, CA – The San Bernardino County Library invites readers of all ages to the 3nd Annual New Book Festival, Sept. 16 at the James S. Thalman Chino Hills Library.
The library will once again unveil thousands of new books, available to County Library patrons for the very first time. Those who attend will be among the first to crack open one of these wonderful new titles.
This year, the New Book Festival will have a special Super Hero theme. The public is invited to come and celebrate literacy while getting the chance to meet and greet Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, and Spider Man. Those who come should not forget their cameras. For those who have ever wanted to see the Batmobile, a Fire Engine, or a Police Car up close this is their chance! Library patrons can build memories in the Jumbo Block play area, make fun crafts, enjoy face painting and balloon artists, dance to a live DJ, and much more.
This event is another opportunity to celebrate and support the Countywide Vision’s literacy campaign, Vision2Read, so attendees will be invited to visit the special Vision 2 Read photo station. The 3nd Annual Chino Hills New Book Festival will take place on Saturday, Sept. 16 from 3 to 7 p.m. Those who attend should bring their library card, as every 15 items checked out during the event earns an opportunity drawing ticket for a chance to win awesome prizes. All activities are free and open to all ages.
Readers are invited to join the San Bernardino County Library System as it attempts to meet its yearlong campaign goal of 1 MILLION circulations at this branch.
