Fontana, Ca – Thousands of new children’s books will become available to San Bernardino County Library customers for the very first time at the 2nd Annual New Book Festival at the Fontana Lewis Library and Technology Center on Saturday, April 8.
You and your children can be among the first to crack open one of these wonderful new titles. Come and celebrate literacy as you get the chance to meet and greet Princess Belle and Princess Elena! Captain America and Spiderman will also be there, so don’t forget your cameras! Have you ever wanted to see the time-traveling DeLorean, a Jurassic Park Jeep, or a unique H-Wing Car Fighter up close? Here is your chance! Build memories in our Jumbo Block play area, make fun crafts, enjoy face painting and balloon artists, dance to a live DJ, and much more!
This event is another opportunity to celebrate and support the Countywide Vision’s literacy campaign, Vision2Read. The 2nd Annual Fontana New Book Festival will take place on Saturday, April 8 from 2 to 7 p.m. Don’t forget to bring your library card, as every 15 items checked out during the event earns you a special reward and an opportunity drawing ticket for a chance to win awesome gift baskets filled with children’s books and specially themed toys! All activities are free and open to all ages.
