The Rancho Cucamonga Animal Center and Hamilton Family Brewery are partnering for the first annual Howl-O-Ween event and fundraiser on Saturday, October 26, 2019. Festivities include dogs available for adoption, a pet costume contest, vendors such as Dogdanas by Camille (handmade dog bandanas), and Dog Haus serving specialty menu items.
UCR’s Community Garden will host its inaugural Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch on Oct. 26
To celebrate fall’s arrival, UC Riverside’s community garden, known as R’Garden, is hosting an inaugural Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch. Community members will enjoy an afternoon of cooking demonstrations, a trunk-or-treat, music, and activities for children led by UCR organizations, including the entomology and chemistry clubs. R’Kids, the campus’ student-parent group will be sponsoring balloon art and face painting.
Visitors may purchase pumpkins in various sizes, all grown and harvested by R’Garden staff and students.
More than 6,000 people will walk the track to fight cancer on Saturday, October 26, 2019 as part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), Orange County Inland Empire Chapter’s Light The Night at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana. Participants will walk a 1.83-mile route through the O’Reilly Auto Parts Fan Zone to pit road and along the front stretch of the oval track.
