Public Encouraged to Take Part Two of Online Survey to Assist with Developing Citywide Landscape Plan

Fontana, Calif.– The City of Fontana is looking for residents to pick their favorite landscaping strategies, through Part Two of the online survey found here, to assist in developing a citywide landscaping plan. Part Two closes Monday, April 1, 2019.

Part One of the survey was released in January 2019 urging residents to share their thoughts on Fontana’s current landscaping. Part Two focuses on landscaping strategies that can be implemented in the City.

Results of the survey will be used to craft the Urban Greening Master Plan to fit Fontana’s landscaping needs.

The Urban Greening Master Plan is a citywide landscaping plan that aims to:

  • Encourage active transportation (spending more time outdoors)
  • Increase water/energy efficiency
  • Establish policy and ordinances resulting in a sustainable landscaping scheme
  • Improve citywide air quality

For questions, please contact Senior Engineer Shannon Casey at (909) 350-6523 or by email. Stay updated with the development of the Urban Greening Master Plan on the City of Fontana website.
