YMCA - East ValleyRedlands, Calif. – The Redlands Family YMCA is delighted to host Cookies, Cookies, and More Cookies, a holiday baking demonstration class. Participants will learn six unique cookie recipes from the Y’s own Pantry Ladies.

The Cookies, Cookies, and More Cookies Class will be held at the Redlands YMCA, located at 500 E. Citrus Ave in Redlands, Calif. on Nov. 15 at 6:00 p.m.

Participants will receive cookie samples as well as a booklet filled with the recipes taught in class. In order to take part, attendees promise to donate a minimum of four dozen baked good items to the Y’s Craft Boutique and Pantry event, held on Dec. 3rd – 4th, 2016.

“Our Cookies, Cookies and More Cookies class will be a fun-filled class for everyone,” said Patsy Oppenheim, one of the Pantry Ladies teaching the class. “All participants will walk away with delicious recipes and some new tips for their holiday baking.”

Each year, the Redlands YMCA hosts its annual Holiday Home Tour event in conjunction with the Holiday Boutique and Pantry, where over 200 volunteers donate baked goods to raise money for the Y’s Legal Aid Clinic. As a part of this Redlands holiday tradition, the Y’s Pantry is instrumental in raising funds to support the Legal Aid Clinic.

All of the proceeds from the Y’s Cookies, Cookies, and More Cookies class go directly to supporting the Y’s Legal Aid Clinic. The YMCA’s Legal Aid Clinic is a vital service that offers families the opportunity to receive low-cost legal assistance. The funds raised at these events allow the Y to assist from many individuals and families across the community.

The Cookies, Cookies, and More Cookies Class will be held at the Redlands YMCA, located at 500 E. Citrus Ave in Redlands, Calif. on Nov. 15 at 6:00 p.m. The class costs $20 for YMCA members and $25 for community members. The cost of the class includes a light supper, recipe booklet, and cookie sampling.
