Manufacturers’ Council of the Inland Empire Celebrates Successful 3rd Annual High Desert Charity Golf Tournament

Victorville, CA: The Manufacturers’ Council of the Inland Empire (MCIE) celebrated the success of its 3rd Annual High Desert Charity Golf Tournament, bringing together manufacturers, community leaders, educators, workforce development partners, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters for a day of networking, friendly competition, and giving back.
Funds raised through the tournament support student scholarships and workforce development initiatives that help build the next generation of manufacturing talent throughout the Inland Empire. Proceeds help students access technical trade schools, apprenticeship programs, and manufacturing career pathway programs that prepare them for rewarding careers in the region’s manufacturing sector.
“The future of manufacturing depends on the strength of our workforce pipeline,” said Molly Burgess, Executive Director of the Manufacturers’ Council of the Inland Empire. “This tournament is a meaningful way for manufacturers and community partners to invest directly in students, training, and career pathways that will support the long-term success of our industry.”
One of the highlights of the event was the Fire Truck Ball Drop, which added excitement and fun for golfers and attendees. MCIE extends a special thank you to Station 311 for generously donating its time, equipment, and fire truck to make the activity possible.

MCIE will continue expanding its impact with the MCIE Manufacturing Charity Golf Classic – 1st Annual West Valley Tournament, scheduled for October 26, 2026. The new event will continue MCIE’s mission of supporting workforce development, student scholarships, apprenticeships, and manufacturing career pathways for the next generation of manufacturing professionals throughout the Inland Empire.
The Manufacturing Innovation Awards honor local manufacturers who are driving progress through smart solutions, creative strategies, and measurable results. Winners will be further recognized through MCIE media, including the organization’s newsletter, website, and social media platforms.
The Manufacturers’ Council (MCIE) represents manufacturers in Riverside and San Bernardino counties. Their efforts include promoting workforce development programs and policies for the region, as well as educating the public on the modern face of manufacturing in the region and the skilled trade opportunities that offer rewarding, high-wage careers.
