There’s No Need to Fear; The 99th Fontana Days Festival is here!

Fontana, California, The Mayor and City Council invite residents to attend the 99th Annual Fontana Days Festival. This year’s theme is “Adventures of the Superheroes.” Spring into action and join the fun and festivities at Veterans Park (17255 Merrill Avenue) beginning May 31st.

 
This event takes place over four days from Thursday, May 31st to Sunday, June 3rd. Each day is filled with activities, carnival rides, games, live entertainment, plenty of food and much more!
Live music and entertainment is scheduled throughout the Festival. On Thursday, May 31st, starting at 6:30 p.m., classic rock band, Outstanding will perform. Suave, brings their Latin flair on Friday, June 1st at 7 p.m. Bumptown, performing top 40 hits, performs on Saturday, June 2nd at 8 p.m. Lastly, on Sunday, June 3rd, start the afternoon with a Ballet Folkorico Competition at 1 p.m. followed by a Gospel music concert at 3 p.m. and in the evening, a performance by Hwy 91 at 7 p.m.

 
Take a ride on the wild side and enjoy all the exciting carnival rides and games we all know and love. On Thursday, May 31st, entrance to the Festival is only $1 and all rides are only $1. On Friday, June 1st entrance to the park is free. On Saturday, June 2nd entrance to the park is free until 4 p.m. After 4 p.m. there is a $1 entrance fee. On Sunday, June 3rd, entrance to the Festival is only $1. Tickets or wrist bands for rides on Friday, Saturday and Sunday can be purchased separately.

Though many of us can imagine spending 24 hours at the Festival, hours of operation vary by day:
· Thursday from 5-10 p.m.

· Friday from 5-10 p.m.

· Saturday from 12-10 p.m.

· Sunday from 12-10 p.m.

Also this weekend is the popular Fontana Days Run on June 2nd. The Run is from 7:30 a.m. to approximately 12 p.m. in front of City Hall. The community is invited to stop by and cheer on the thousands of runners as they cross the finish line.
