Make The Grade Tutoring Program is back and being offered “FREE” to the entire community for the third year. It is scheduled to begin July 6th at the Riverside Community Center for Spiritual Living 3891 Ridge Road Riverside California.

The program will focus on strengthening the student’s reading, language arts, and math skills. The tutoring program is open to youth between the ages of 5 years old and 17 years old. Youth are placed in age appropriate groups which include grade school, middle school, and high school. It is fun yet effective in strengthening their academic skill. We also have special curriculum for teens in need of increasing their potentials on tests and in passing the High School Exit Exam. It is the perfect response to the budget cuts and an alternative for parents who are looking for affordable programs this summer to support their children in strengthening their academic skills.

The Make the Grade staff consist of volunteers from the community which includes teachers, college students, and parents. They have partnered to make a difference in the life of a child. They will meet with the students twice a week for the entire month of July on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30a.m. – 11:30a.m. A Parent Orientation and Registration is also scheduled this Saturday, July 26th from 10:00am.m – 11:30a.m. at the center along with a special Self –Esteem Workshop for the youth.
