Adventures in Nature at the Mary Vagle Nature Center
Fontana, California, The Mayor and City Council invite the public to have an Adventure in Nature this March at the Mary Vagle Nature Center, located at 11501 Cypress Avenue.
The Mary Vagle Nature Center invites parents to take their young children on an exciting journey through the natural world at “Adventures in Nature” on Saturday, March 10 at noon.
“Adventures in Nature provides an opportunity for young children to explore and to create,” says Rick Dean, Community Services Coordinator for the Mary Vagle Nature Center. “This event is a great way to introduce young children to the wonders of nature.”
“Adventures in Nature” features fun hands-on activities to teach children about the natural world, outdoor exploration through nature walks, and an up-close encounter with one of the Nature Center’s live animals.
“Adventures in Nature” is for families with early elementary and young children and takes place on the second Saturday of the month. Upcoming dates are April 14, May 12 and June 9. There is a $3 fee per child.
The Mary Vagle Nature Center is open Wednesday through Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and is located at 11501 Cypress Ave. For more information about events at the Mary Vagle Nature Center, please call the Center at (909) 349-6994 or visit online at nature.fontana.org.
