Art Depot Gallery Presents
Fontana, California – The Mayor and City Council invite the public to visit the Art Depot Gallery and see artist Dodd Holsapple’s exhibit “Worn Through,” starting in January.
“My work is about presentation and visual impact and is constantly growing and evolving through production. Stylistically, my themes and application of materials change depending on the idea I want the viewer to see,” said Holsapple.
“The exhibit will be a series of paintings and installations that will depict landscapes, flowers, environmental issues and green art,” according to Courtney Hodnick, curator for the Art Depot. The artwork may range from “watercolor, acrylic, oil and natural pigments on wood, paper and canvas panels, sculpture in ceramic, metal, woven structures, found objects and plants,” she said.
The “Worn Through” exhibit will run from January 4 to February 25. There will be a reception for Holsapple at the Depot’s Family Art Night, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on February 4.
The Art Depot Gallery is free and open Tuesdays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. To learn more about the Exhibit or other Art Depot events and programs, please visit arts.fontana.org or call (909) 349-6975.
