CREW Inland Empire hosts inaugural market overview conference
InlandEmpire.US – INLAND EMPIRE, Calif. —CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women), Inland Empire is hosting a special industry conference on Thursday, April 14 titled, “Are We There Yet?” which will look at where the market is and where it is headed. A panel of local real estate leaders has been recruited to examine and forecast the course of the local and regional real estate marketplace, including residential, office, retail, industrial and capital market sectors.
Panelists include:
Douglas Jorritsma, senior marketing consultant at Land Advisors Organization, who is a San Bernardino County residential and industrial land expert with more than 20 years of experience.
Carol Plowman, founding principal and senior vice president at Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services – Ontario, Inc., who is a commercial real estate expert that has assisted in the development of more than 1,500,000 square feet of office/retail/hospitality near Ontario Airport in the last three years.
Michelle Schierberl, senior vice president at Grubb & Ellis Company, who is a retail and land investment expert with more than 20 years experience in commercial brokerage. Schierberl’s brokerage sales currently exceeded $1.5 billion.
John Magness, senior vice president at Hillwood Investment Properties, who is a recognized leader in industrial development, brownfield clean up and military base redevelopment. During the last decade he has managed the development of AllianceCalifornia, a modern industrial park totaling 8.1 million square feet in San Bernardino. He also oversees eight other Southern California projects totaling approximately 1,000 acres.
Dino Champagne, division manager at Asset Preservation, Inc. and CREW Inland Empire board member, will moderate the panel.
The event is being held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center, 12505 Cultural Center Drive in Rancho Cucamonga. Attendance is $35 for members and $45 for non-members before April 8. Register at www.crew-ie.org.
