CSUSB Business Center launches “Marketing the Write Way” Workshop
SAN BERNARDINO,Calif.– The Inland Empire Women’s Business Center at Cal State San Bernardino will host a workshop on Thursday, August 18, to help people who need help writing clear and effective marketing messages.
“Marketing the ‘Write’ Way” is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. at the center’s office, 202 East Airport Drive, Suite 100, just off Hospitality Lane, in San Bernardino. The cost of this workshop is $15 if you preregister online, or $20 at the door.
The workshop will be taught by Carolyn Ortman of CKO Marketing & Training Group, and Joan Burke of Jazzy Pen Communications, and will help participants learn how to write clearly to guarantee their marketing message is getting through to their intended audience.
The Inland Empire Women’s Business Center is a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The IEWBC provides business counseling, training and mentoring designed for women business owners.
The program provides services in English and Spanish to Latina business owners, currently the fastest growing group of women business owners in the country.
The Inland Empire Women’s Business Center’s hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday by appointment only. The center also has a part-time outreach office inCorona, where it meets clients by appointment only on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
