“Designing an Effective Marketing Plan” with Peter Newman to be Presenty by CVWBC on January 7TH and 8TH
PALM DESERT, CA. – Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center will present “Designing an Effective Marketing Plan”, a two part series, on January 7th and 8th.
The workshop will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Workforce Development Center in Indio at 44-199 Monroe Street. Cost for the workshop is $40 with online registration (www.cvwbc.org) or $50 at the door.
The series will focus on learning the skills needed to create a marketing plan for a business (including for a non-profit), beginning with defining what a marketing plan is, its key components, and how to utilize marketing to lead and manage a business more effectively. Included in the series will be forming marketing strategy and achieving marketing growth, as well as marketing communications recommendations.
Instructor for the series Peter Newman of Marketingedge, a local firm specializing in integrated marketing, branding, and public relations. Mr. Newman has nearly 20 years of senior advertising agency management in such brands as Volkswagen, Porsche, Lloyds Bank California, and Lawry’s Foods, as well as serving as an independent brand marketing consultant both nationally and regionally. Mr. Newman was also co-founder and owner of the Advertising Center of Los Angeles, voted one of America’s Top 5 Training Centers by Madison Avenue Magazine.

The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center is a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The CVWBC is a grant-funded program which provides free business counseling, free and low-cost workshops and events, and mentoring designed for women business owners, but available to all.
