Public Star Party and Telescope Clinic: August 23, 2019

Have a telescope in your closet that you bought or were given and have no idea how to use it?  Or a telescope that you’ve not used in years and don’t know if all of the parts are there?  Well, the Big Bear Valley Astronomical Society (BBVAS) has the solution.  On August 23, 2019, the BBVAS will be holding a Public Star Party and Telescope Clinic at Erwin Lake Park, 1140 Hatchery Drive, Big Bear City.  Bring your telescope and our experts will check it over and show you how to get the most out of it.  If you don’t have a telescope, come on out and look through ours! The event will begin at 7pm, weather permitting.  The only requirement is to bring your enthusiasm and questions!
