Participants run along a paved path adjacent to the Santa Ana River. This course is low to medium difficulty, perfect for first timers! The overall male and female finisher in the Half Marathon, 10K and 5K receive a special gift. Participant medals are awarded to every finisher in all races. In the Half Marathon, 10K and 5K, placement medals will be awarded to the top three male and female in each age division. All 10K, 5K and Half Marathon participants receive a Sport-Tek shirt and backpack.

Run the River for The Ridge is the Final Leg for the Charity Challenge Series. 

The Charity Challenge is a local, 3-race series, which benefits three local charities: Peppermint Ridge, Riley’s Run (2/23), and The Mary Kay Foundation (4/14)! Upon completing the 3rd and final race you will receive an extra special Charity Challenge medal!
