Finalists chosen for NAWBO-IE’s 10th Annual Amazing Women of the Inland Empire Awards Banquet
Corona, CA – Finalists were named for the 5 categories in NAWBO-IE’s 10th Annual Amazing Women of the Inland Empire Awards Banquet. The awards banquet honors women business owners who have outstanding achievements, and will be held on Thursday, April 18th, 2013 at the Eagle Glen Golf Club in Corona, California. This event provides a wonderful opportunity to network, advertise, connect with influential decision-makers, and learn from incredibly successful business owners and their achievements. Attendees are truly amazed by the work that is being done behind the scenes daily in their communities.
Over 200 entries were submitted for consideration in 5 categories, including Business Woman of the Year, Legacy, Trailblazer, Community Builder, and Rising Star. The following women were chosen as finalists from the Inland Empire to receive one of these Amazing Women awards:
Business Woman of the Year Nominees:

These women are by definition Bridge-Builders. They are deeply committed to their communities and demonstrate an amazing passion for their causes. They have successfully pulled together resources in the face of constant challenges to make their vision of bringing people, business, and community together a reality.
Rising Star Nominees:

Kathy Walsh of Business Waste Management
This woman has been in business three years or less and has demonstrated a clear track record of success. She demonstrates commitment and achievement in spite of the daunting task of starting a new business.
Finalists were chosen by business professional in the Inland Empire during preliminary judging. The award selection committee consists of past award winners, and NAWBO corporate partners. They will select the award winners from among the Finalists during the final judging.
“Being named a Finalist in the AWE Awards Banquet is an important achievement,” said Angelina Harris of NAWBO-IE. It means that independent business owners and community members have agreed that the nominees are worthy of recognition.
NAWBO-IE congratulates all of the finalists on their achievements and wish them well in the competition.
The final awards will be announced at the Amazing Women Event, April 18, 2013.
