Claremont, CA – The owner of Speckled Hens is adding a new boutique kitchen experience to Claremont Village! The Hens’ Kitchen Shoppe, located at 141 Yale Avenue, Claremont, CA will hold a Grand Opening on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 10a.m.-6p.m., featuring: free gift with purchase, opportunity drawings and a promotional offer of a free half-sheet jelly roll pan with any same-day purchase of $100 or more. (Offer valid April 1, 2017 only.) Refreshments will be served.
The public is encouraged to donate two (2) cans of nonperishable food, to benefit The Bread of Life Food Ministry at Granite Creek Church in Claremont.
The Hens’ Kitchen Shoppe will feature an assortment of unique cookware, bakeware, dishes, cookbooks, utensils, kitchen décor, and more.
Owner Mary O’Brien is no stranger to business in Claremont. Since 2008, she has operated Speckled Hens, a home & garden décor store in the Harvard Square building. As co-owners with Laurie Barnett, she will continue to run dual businesses in the downtown village that compliment each other.
O’Brien notes, “By bringing a kitchen store into the heart of the Claremont Village, we hope to inspire families to get creative — try new recipes and get excited about cooking again. We will feature gourmet ingredients, cookware, linens, gifts and more! Our goal is to also feature local authors for book signings, hold cooking demonstrations, and even open a bridal registry.”
